"Taking Responsibility Program"

rdvweb.jpg

The "Taking Responsibility” Program has inspired the adoption of an independent addition to the ITCC prevention programs.  It is The C.R.A.D.L.E.B.O.A.R.D. Way-Cultural Responsibility Alliance Dedicated to Lifestyle Education By Ongoing Awareness to Restore Dignity.  The cradleboard is used as a metaphor for California tribal people to see and use for wellness in their homes and communities.  The C.R.A.D.L.E.B.O.A.R.D. Way provides domestic violence education in a spiritual, healing, and cultural manner.  The CB Way initiates individual and community accountability towards the acceptance or elimination of violence, drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, poor nutrition and other health related matters.  The CB Way enlists the collaboration of service providers with the tribal communities who may need assistance for a Native victim of domestic violence.  The C.R.A.D.L.E.B.O.A.R.D. Way utilizes the standards that Creator gifted to the tribal people to promote a renewal of cultural awareness, understanding and responsibility.
